PARENTHESIS
deadline: May 24, 2024
no fee to apply
Warimono invites visual artists to submit works for Parenthesis. Like a parenthetical phrase, some gestures shift meaning, add depth, or offer another way in. (Sometimes what’s set apart is what lingers the longest.) Parenthesis is an invitation to share work that is intentional, grounded, and reflective.
The exhibition creates space for close attention. It values presence, precision, and the ways artists expand how we see and understand. Warimono welcomes submissions from artists across all visual disciplines who bring clarity to their process and depth to their practice.
The exhibition will run on our website from June 16 to July 31, 2025.
It's up to the individual submitting to decide if and how the title aligns with their ongoing practice. We welcome diverse perspectives and encourage artists from all backgrounds and stages of their careers to participate.
As part of your application, we kindly ask that you follow us on our social media platforms. This will help you stay informed about our latest news, updates, and future open calls:
